Sun Chemical: new director and upcoming hires at the Monthey Site!

Sun Chemical has appointed Boris Jud-Fleet as its new director since September.

The company, which employs 210 people at its Monthey location and is also resident of our BioArk Monthey technological site, is planning to make new hires to fulfill its order book.As part of the international DIC group, Sun Chemical is one of the world’s leaders in the manufacture of inks, printing products, pigments, polymers, and composites. It serves numerous industrial sectors both in Switzerland and internationally. Since 1968, Sun Chemical has been producing pigments at the Monthey chemical site. These pigments are used in car body paints, plastics, printing inks, sportswear, and screens for TVs and smartphones. Sun Chemical actively contributes to adding color to everyday life!

Significant Increase in Activities

The international DIC group employs approximately 22,000 people worldwide and generates a revenue of $8.5 billion. Locally, Sun Chemical has noted a “significant increase” in its activities, with a rise in production volumes. To ensure its capacity and meet its order book for the upcoming months, the company has launched an active recruitment process. These new recruits will join the existing team of 210 people in Monthey. “Sun Chemical offers a diverse work environment focused on performance and progress, with many development opportunities,” states the company.

A New Director

Sun Chemical also officially announces the arrival of Boris Jud-Fleet as the new director since September 1st. He succeeds Cédric Cossy, who retired after nine years in the role.
