Pitch Challenge 2025 by the HEI

The Pitch Challenge 2025, organized by the School of Engineering (Haute Ecole d’Ingénierie) of HES-SO Valais-Wallis, will take place in both Visp and Monthey. This annual event gives bachelor’s and master’s students a stage to present their thesis projects to a public audience and a professional jury in just 120 seconds.

The programme for each event includes a welcoming introduction, followed by the main pitching session where students deliver their concise presentations, each accompanied by a single visual support. After all the pitches, the public and a specially selected panel have the opportunity to ask questions and exchange with the students. Participants can also discover a dedicated exhibition area showcasing the diploma projects in more detail and interact directly with the authors.

Alongside the main competition, the agenda may include a guest conference or keynote on a technology or innovation topic of current interest. At the conclusion of the event, awards are presented to the best presentations—distinctions decided both by a jury of experts and audience voting. The experience typically concludes with a networking apéritif, providing a relaxed atmosphere for informal discussions between students, professionals, academics, and guests.
