NASA keynote speaker at the Point-of-Care Diagnostics Symposium

The 6th edition of the “Point-of-Care Diagnotics” Symposium, to be held on 25 and 26 October at the Energypolis Campus in Sion, will welcome Professor Benjamin Easter, a renowned expert in the field of space medicine and extreme environments. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear him speak, and to take part in this professional life sciences event.

Benjamin Easter, Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, is also active within NASA, more specifically in connection with medical exploration capability. A recognised expert in his field, his ground-breaking work on a health programme linked to NASA astronauts has aroused great interest in the medical world. In addition, as Deputy Medical Director of Polar Medicine at the University of Colorado, Dr Easter has extensive expertise in extreme environments and a particular interest in the challenges of medicine in critical situations.
