The “Innovation in the vineyards” event, held on September 30th at the Innothèque space during the Foire du Valais, was a resounding success, attracting over thirty participants. Organized in collaboration with PhytoArk, this event highlighted the technological advancements and innovations transforming the viticulture sector.

The event kicked off with a round table titled “Changing Viticulture,” where renowned experts shared their insights on the current challenges and opportunities in the industry. Among the speakers were:

Moderated by Tulipan Zollinger, founder of ZIZAN!A Botanica and partner of Zollinger Bio, this discussion addressed crucial issues facing viticulture today, including the impacts of climate change and new consumer expectations.

The second part of the event focused on conferences showcasing several innovative Valais start-ups that are shaping the future of viticulture:

- 3D2cut: Demonstration of precision pruning assisted by artificial intelligence, optimizing vine growth and productivity.
- Novochizol: Introduction to innovative treatments specifically developed for vines, combining effectiveness with environmental respect.
- IrriSalgesch Pilot Project: Illustration of a concrete case of smart irrigation, showcasing the synergy between traditional viticulture and modern technology.
- Oouliri: Exploration of a sustainable approach transforming grape seeds into valuable resources for future viticulture.
