On Wednesday, October 1st, the interactive mini‑exhibition Explore – Expérimente – Imagine !, organised by BioArk, with the participation of EPIC Monthey, MINTworld & HES-SO Valais/Wallis, attracted nearly 200 curious visitors of all ages, at the Foire du Valais. From 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., participants had the chance to dive into the exciting world of life sciences through hands‑on activities and live demonstrations.
The event proved to be a great success, offering children, students, families, and professionals an opportunity to discover scientific training paths and career perspectives.

EPIC Monthey brought the wonders of molecular gastronomy to life by turning syrup into edible pearls to be tested. Visitors also learned about the technologist profession through interactive demonstrations.

MINTworld Visp gave participants the chance to become conductors of mini‑robots by learning programming basics, explore how electrical networks function, and try their hand at Python coding with LEGO models.

HES‑SO Valais‑Wallis showcased live DNA sequencing of a bacterium, lifting the curtain on cutting‑edge research and highlighting the importance of genomics in modern science.
Through these playful yet educational experiences, visitors discovered the diversity of life science careers and the strong educational opportunities available in Valais.
