On October 7 2026, at Foire du Valais (Espace Innothèque), BioArk will host the second edition of Explore – Experiment – Imagine!, an interactive mini-exhibition designed to make life sciences more tangible, accessible and engaging for a broad audience.
After a successful first edition in 2025, which welcomed nearly 200 visitors, the event returns with the same spirit: hands-on discovery, direct contact with training institutions, and a concrete view of the skills that shape the life sciences sector in Valais.
This year again, visitors will be able to meet three key educational and scientific actors from the region:
- EPIC, Campus EPTM, with activities linked to vocational training and technical professions in chemistry and life sciences.
- HES-SO Valais-Wallis and its Life Sciences programme, presenting applied scientific training and research connected to today’s biotechnology, diagnostics and digital life sciences challenges.
- MINTworld Visp, offering interactive experiences that encourage young people to explore mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology through experimentation.
Explore – Experiment – Imagine! is more than a public outreach event. It reflects one of the strengths of the Valais life sciences ecosystem: the continuity between scientific awareness, vocational and higher education, applied research and industrial capabilities.
For BioArk, supporting this type of initiative helps make the regional ecosystem easier to understand and approach. It shows how training, research and industrialisation are connected in practice, and why early exposure to science and technology matters for the future talent pipeline.
The event is open to children, students, families, professionals and anyone interested in discovering life sciences through practical and accessible activities.
