BioArk at the Forum Économique du Chablais 2026

Forum économique Chablais edition2

BioArk will attend the Forum Économique du Chablais on 3 September 2026 at the UCI World Cycling Centre in Aigle. The event will bring together companies, public institutions and economic stakeholders from across the region.

The Forum Économique du Chablais returns for its second edition with a programme focused on the economic conditions shaping business activity in Switzerland and the region.

Competitiveness from a regional perspective

How can Swiss companies continue to produce, invest and export in a period marked by a strong franc, rising costs, geopolitical uncertainty and changing relations with European markets?

This question will guide one of the Forum’s main panel discussions. Representatives from government, European institutions and industry will examine how Swiss SMEs and exporting companies can respond while maintaining their capacity to innovate.

The discussion has direct relevance for the Chablais, where industrial expertise, specialised SMEs and internationally active companies form an important part of the regional economy. Life Sciences companies face many of the same pressures, alongside sector-specific requirements related to regulation, infrastructure, talent and industrial development.

Local expertise with an international reach

The programme will also turn the spotlight on the “hidden champions” of the Chablais. This session will present companies whose expertise is recognised well beyond the region, despite their limited public visibility.

Their experience offers a practical view of what it takes to develop specialised know-how, serve international markets and remain competitive from a Swiss production base.

A closing panel will bring together economic and institutional perspectives on the future of the Chablais. Networking sessions throughout the afternoon will give participants time to continue the discussion and identify possible collaborations.

Connecting with the Life Sciences ecosystem

Sylvain Aumonier will represent BioArk during the Forum and take part in discussions with companies, entrepreneurs and regional partners.

Participants developing a Life Sciences project or exploring opportunities in Valais will be able to discuss the regional environment with him, from specialised infrastructure and industrial capabilities to connections with relevant experts and development partners.
